The first Joan Allen Event held at Lenham in 2019 went better than we could have predicted. There was a vast array of coins and artefacts found including a Celtic Bucket / Bowl (Pictured below) along with several Celtic staters, Roman coins and artefacts and an estimated 100+ hammered coins!!

The weather was good to us, perhaps too good with the heat and dust making detecting hard at times. Support for the event was fantastic with tickets selling out quickly for the 220 acre event. Full details of finds and a write up will be appearing in a future edition of The Treasure Hunting magazine.
